​Daz’s musical foundations were shaped by the soulful pulse of disco, roots reggae, and dub, later expanding into the energy of 90s hip‑hop, rap, techno, and jungle. 

After studying audio engineering in the early 2000s, he emerged within Aotearoa’s underground drum & bass scene, ‘daz bLazem’ came to life - building a reputation through late‑night club sets, radio shows, and award‑winning performances. 

Across two decades, Daz has continued to evolve with the culture, moving seamlessly into the digital era through online streaming and live broadcast performance.

He is now the resident DJ for Auckland Art Battle, where - alongside Ellen‑Moana -Daz drives the high‑energy musical atmosphere of the events while shaping the live experience for audiences both in the venue and online.
