Experience a LIVE painting gallery and workshop initiative from the heart of Auckland city - Join us for a journey into the world of art and creativity
The MTA collective comprises a diverse group of established and up-and-coming artists who collaborate to create an immersive art experience. They provide an opportunity for the public to witness art in action, to engage with different styles and techniques, and an opportunity to participate in the creative process themselves. The MTA collective are all comfortable working and painting LIVE, with a dedication to fostering creativity. With so much variation across a range of disciplines our MTA artists inspire future generations by being present as they work - and celebrate a collective passion for expression.

ARTISTIC EXPRESSION
We celebrate the seamless integration of the visual and performing arts, believing that each enriches the other. Our collective experiences connect our artists together with musicians, dancers, and actors, creating a dynamic space where art forms converge to elevate beauty, emotion, and storytelling. Through exhibitions, live performances and collaborative projects, we showcase how the visual and performing arts together can inspire and transform audiences.

The MTA Mission
Our mission is to foster community wellbeing through artistic expression. By creating a space where artists and the public can interact, we aim to break down barriers and make art (and artists) accessible to everyone. Our artists each have a unique story to tell, with a passion for making marks through their own creative processes. The MTA collective find the time and the space for artists and art enthusiasts to come together, for a welcoming, enriching and immersive experience.
