Auckland Live are bringing Christmas cheer to Aotea Square this December with a festive programme of FREE, whānau-friendly performances and experiences. The MTA collective will be painting + creating LIVE with all works available + ALL COMERS ART BATTLE from 1pm + special guests AKLA Hip Hop crew!

From 1pm you can put your name in the hat to compete against the pros in the ultimate speed-painting test with Art Battle All Comers, with on-the-spot auctions and prizes!
Get ready for a LIVE painting experience like no other! Join the Meet The Artists Collective in the heart of Auckland city, as part of Auckland Live Christmas in Aotea Square. Enjoy a diverse collection of emerging and established artists, sculptors and painters from the Auckland collective, as they paint, sculpt and create art in full holiday spirit - All the artwork on show will be available for sale. Be Painted in The Square & Take It Home for Christmas*: Charcoal or paint with acclaimed portrait artist Caroline Kelly '3 Colours of You' with international abstract artist Vjekoslav Nemesh 10 Minute Captures or Caricatures with speed Artist Orion Mabelle Leave your mark on Rashi's Christmas Tree & a chance to WIN the painting!
