Logan Bow
Artist | Sculptor

Logan Bow is a multidisciplinary artist and emerging architect whose practice bridges the worlds of visual art, design, and spatial exploration. Currently pursuing a Master of Architecture (Professional) and Urban Design at the University of Auckland, Logan infuses his artistic endeavours with the structural sensibilities and global perspectives gained from his academic work and extensive travels. Outside of the studio and classroom, he has proudly represented New Zealand as a competitive artistic gymnast, channelling the same discipline, balance, and dedication into his creative process.

Logan’s early fascination with painting and colour theory found fertile ground during his formative years at Auckland Grammar School, where opportunities to exhibit, sell, and connect with fellow creatives sparked a deepening commitment to art. Over time, his practice evolved from traditional painting commissions toward a more exploratory approach that embraces sculpture, mixed media, shells, gilding, thermoplastics, and digital fabrication. Inspired by architectural concepts like geometry, cohesion, and form, his work pushes the limits of materials, challenging both their properties and the viewer’s expectations.

Acknowledged through inclusion in prestigious exhibitions such as Art in the Park and the Auckland Art Show, Logan has established meaningful relationships with New Zealand galleries and sold his work internationally. Active within the creative community, he has collaborated with organisations like the Kings Trust Aotearoa, the Eden Arts Community, and Art Battle, contributing to a dynamic cultural dialogue. By creating and sharing art publicly, he believes in fostering genuine connections—between artist and audience, material and maker—ultimately building a supportive, inspiring environment where creativity thrives.
