About the event

The MTA Collective is bringing their creative energy to Auckland’s waterfront, with a vibrant lineup of some of New Zealand’s best-loved painters, sculptors and muralists. The artists have finished their 3 weekend Art Trails and are now working towards the group exhibition at Silo 6 Gallery - with a collaborative theme celebrating People, Place and 'Moana' (ocean).

Studio is open - come on in!

Meet the Artists Collective brings a burst of creative energy to Auckland’s city centre, after transforming the waterfront into a live, open-air art trail the colourful lineup of some of Aotearoa’s best-loved painters, sculptors and muralists have been creating in real time across iconic city locations.

The LIVE Art Trail has now concluded, but their artwork continues on at Silo 6 Gallery with an open studio exhibition and interactive workshops available. Resene Creation Station and collect stamps along the way, exploring all the Art Zones for a chance to WIN a $500 Resene voucher.

It all wraps up with a finale exhibition on 21 March - complete with MCDJ and a silent art auction! Your chance to take home a piece of the waterfront magic.
