Tazanna Dell is an Auckland artist hailing originallyfrom Durban, South Africa. Tazanna has spent her whole life painting starting at 6 years old, selling her first artwork at 12 years old and her first international piece at 15. 

 

After moving to New Zealand Taz continued her artistic career selling pet portraits and running sip and paint classes in her later teen years. This is also when she found her unique and colorful style, with wild animals dominating her subject matter. Growing up around them she wanted to portray the feeling of seeing them in the wild through her work using acrylic and oils. 

 

Taz was the youngest Grand Finalist at Art Battle Auckland 2024. Now a university student and track athlete, Tazanna continues to create and compete in the art world, embracing her own journey alongside competitive and live arts with vigour and passion at every opportunity.
