Samantha A. Lee, originally an urbansketcher, has developed into a distinguished painter, honing her skills while travelling and living abroad. With a studio now as her creative sanctuary, she primarily works with gouache, expressing her vibrant interpretations of natural landscapes. Her animated style is inspired by the colourful palettes of artists like Hasui Kawase and the quick sketches of Jan van Goyen, focusing on nature and a variety of landscapes.

Samantha transitioned from travel sketching to studio work, concentrating on capturing vibrant features over realism. Her artistic journey is marked by private commissions in both ink and gouache. As she looks forward to collaborating within the Meet the Artists Collective, Samantha is committed to personal projects that further develop her vibrant style, valuing the collective as a platform for exchanging ideas and fostering artistic growth.
