Sean Hurst, an Auckland-based artist with a creative flair for visual storytelling, began his artistic journey at MIT focusing on fashion before expanding into a wider array of mediums. His style, rooted in contemporary assemblage, makes innovative use of found objects to delve into themes of human existence, memory, and the inherent stories of the mundane.
Over the years, Sean's work has transitioned from fashion to a more interdisciplinary approach that includes significant contributions to the film and television industries, notably in costume and prop design for productions like Disney’s "Power Rangers" and "Spartacus". His achievements include being a finalist in the World of Wearable Art show and exhibiting across prestigious New Zealand galleries.

His future aspirations involve pushing the boundaries of his artistic practice, exploring new themes, and creating immersive experiences with smaller glass-domed narrative works. Sean is committed to fostering a dynamic environment for artistic growth within the collective, leveraging his skills in storytelling and multimedia art to inspire and engage.
